Chelsea captain John Terry described Arsenal's disastrous 6-3
defeat to Manchester City as "a thumping", but warned against
complacency ahead of the Blues trip to north London next week.Arsene Wenger's side were run ragged in a dramatic encounter at the Etihad Stadium, which saw their lead at the top of the Premier League cut to just two points and had many predicting it would only remain so for a short while longer.
Terry admitted it would have been a humiliating defeat for the Gunners, but was not about to start underestimating them just before the two sides meet on Monday night.

"We've got an opportunity to go away to Arsenal next week and go top of the league," he is quoted as saying by the Daily Star."They got a bit of a thumping, but they're a really good side and really good at home as well."
Chelsea capitalised on the Arsenal defeat to cut the gap between the sides, but were far from convincing in their 2-1 win over struggling Crystal Palace.
It took a fine strike from Ramires to reassert the Blues' lead against a spirited Palace side, after Marouane Chamakh had cancelled out Fernando Torres' opener.
Arsenal will looked tired as the Manchester City attack overwhelmed them in Saturday's early kick-off and will hope nearly nine days rest before the Chelsea clash will give them a chance to get recharged.
However, Terry is in confident move ahead of the match and believes Jose Mourinho's side can use it as the catalyst to take charge of what is currently a topsy-turvy title race.
"It's going to be tough, but I think the motivation for us is to go there and beat them and go top of the league, which, just before Christmas, is a really good place to be," he added.
"I think we've got another gear to go, which is still encouraging, being the position we are at the minute.
"So we're not too disappointed, we just know as a group we can get better."
