SPORT: Arsenal & Manchester City still tracking Real Madrid star

Iker Casillas remains a second-choice at Real Madrid. (©GettyImages)Arsenal and Manchester City are continuing to monitor Iker Casillas' situation at Real Madrid as his spell on the bench continues, reports the Daily Express.
The Spanish international has spent his entire career at the Bernabeu but has found himself out of favour for the first time in his 12 year stint in the first team.

The 32-year-old, who already has 152 caps for his country, has fallen behind Diego Lopez in the pecking order and is yet to make a La Liga appearance this season.

Although reluctant to leave his dream club, Casillas is believed to be considering his future and will look to move at the end of the season if his situation fails to change.
The Express believe that both Arsenal and Manchester City are keeping a close eye on the situation with both Arsene Wenger and Manuel Pellegrini ready to take advantage of the rare opportunity to sign a World Cup-winning legend.
Wenger is still on the look out for a challenger to Wojciech Szczesny, who, despite his fine form this season, is still not a nailed on number one at the Emirates.
Manchester City's need for a new goalkeeper may be a bit for urgent than the Gunners, who are still playing Costel Pantilimon in the Premier League after Joe Hart was dropped following a series of high profile mistakes.
A move for Casillas could spell the end to Hart's time at the Etihad as the England number one knows first team football is essential to keeping his international career alive.
