Lady Gaga has had David Bowie 's face tattooed on her side ahead of her Grammy Awards tribute to the legendary musician.
The
Applause singer showed off her new ink just days before she remembers
the late star at this year's ceremony, one month after his death from
cancer aged 69.
Gaga showed off her latest design on Snapchat as
tattooist Mark Mahoney added to her collection at Shamrock Social Club
with the tattoo on her rib cage, just below an anchor on her left side.

The new piece was a brilliantly recreated stencil copy of
Bowie's Aladdin Sane album cover, which the star said had a profound
effect on her.
She captioned a video: "This was the image that changed my life".
The design is based on one of Bowie's most iconic images

"We immediately spoke and agreed that she should be the one to honour David. She's perfect for it."
The
special showcase in memory of the Thin White Duke will be directed by
Nile Rodgers, who previously worked with Bowie on 1983 album Let's
Dance.
