Just when Chelsea seems to have weathered the storm with the binning of controversial Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho, fresh reports indicate that there’s still some surface tension brewing at Stamford Bridge.
Oscar and Diego Costa had to be separated by stunned Chelsea team-mates during a furious training ground bust-up that threatened to descend into a brawl.

There were claims that the pair even exchanged blows at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground on Thursday, but an eye witness insisted Oscar and Costa were dragged apart before the incident escalated that far.
The clash took place as a result of Oscar producing what was described as an “outrageous” challenge into the knee of Costa after the striker had initially gone in hard on him.
It was after Oscar’s knee-high lunge that the pair squared up and had to be pulled apart by their shocked team-mates before angry words could turn into a physical scrap.
While Costa has a reputation for losing his temper with his opponents, the training-ground incident was largely being blamed on Oscar – even though the pair swiftly struck a truce.
Eyewitnesses say Oscar, 24, was struck up to three times in the melee, but the Brazil midfielder has since moved to quash the claims.
“Those who are saying that me and Diego Costa fought today in training are lying. He is one of my best friends and we would never fight,” he wrote on Twitter.
Club sources say that manager Guus Hiddink was pleased the pair have resolved their differences, as they were seen laughing at the end of the training session.
Both players have been in fine form since the exit of Mourinho, and the Blues will depend on them to get past League One side Scunthorpe in an FA Cup third-round tie on Sunday.
