In a bid to contribute
her quota to the good of the community,reigning miss curvy Nigeria
Sandra Anthony is set to launch her pet project SAF.(SANDRA ANTHONY FOUNDATION).
The
initiative is set to take the message of early detection,screening and
the continuously search for a cure of cervical cancer to secondary
schools and universities.
A graduate of international relations from the University of Nigeria Nsukka
Sandra is focused on
reaching out to young females in secondary as well as female
undergraduates in the universities, which should have been screened at a
tender age of 12 and already immune the of cervical cancer.
"We will leverage on the
advert of social and digital media,supported by outreach events and
traditional media to pursue our cause" she stated.
By the end of 2016,the
project hopes to have reached a minimum of 50,000 young women to
enlighten them about the disease and encourage screening amongst those
of the age.
"Early detection is the only way to save a female child from cervical cancer"
