In line with the orders of the King of Saudi Arabia, Salman ibn Abdul-Aziz, who ordered the compensation of all victims of the incident and their families, affected pilgrims from Nigeria would be getting a total of N398.1m.
According
to the statement from the Saudi Monarch, each injured victim will
receive a sum of N26.5m, while families of dead victims would be
receiving a sum of N53.1m each.
Earlier, the Chairman of National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Mallam Abdullahi Mukhtar had
revealed that three Nigerians were injured with two from Kaduna and one

Thus,
the three Nigerians injured would be getting a total of N79.5m and
families of the 6 dead victims would be receiving N318.6m.
Umar,
the consul-general, however, said that the money would be given to
relations of the deceased and other victims of the crash.
He said that the Nigerian government was surprised with the kind gesture of King Salman bin Abdulazeez, who donated the money to the families of the affected pilgrims.
Umar assured Nigerians and families of the victims that the money would be delivered to the right persons.
Below is how the Saudi Arabian government plans to pay victims of the tragedy.
1. The family of a deceased person will receive a sum of 53.1 million naira.
