FA receives more evidence of coach’s alleged sexism against Eva Carneiro

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho could be in hot waters as more evidence have already been handed to FA about his alleged sexism against Doctor Eva Carneiro.

Mourinho clashed with Carneiro in Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Swansea on the opening day of the current season for going into the pitch to attend to Eden Hazard without knowing the extent of the injury.
The Chelsea manager has been accused of calling Carneiro ‘daughter of a whore’ during the row but Mourinho has denied the claims.
The Chelsea manager was accused of saying  ‘filha da puta’ to Carneiro but he has denied it saying he said  ‘filho da puta’ -which mean ‘son of a bitch’-instead.
The complainant provided video footage and with the help of a ‘native Portuguese speaker’ who alleged that Mourinho has directed the feminine version of the insult at Gibraltar-born Carneiro.
According to Daily Mail, the complainant had called for the FA to investigate what it regards as a clear breach of FA regulations and also provided more evidence.
Under the FA rule E3, players and coaches can be punished for using ‘offensive, insulting or abusive language and/or gestures’.
The fresh evidence was given to the FA by Women in Football on Monday, September 21.
It contains footage of the incident accompanied by a written submission from a Portuguese translator who says that Mourinho singled out Carneiro in his outburst.
They consulted several language experts before making their submission.
The FA have indicated that they have included Women in Football’s evidence with the previous complaint and will make a decision on whether to charge Mourinho based on all of the information at their disposal.
Women in Football feel that, even if the FA decide Mourinho did not use sexist language, he is still in breach of rule E3(1) for using indecent language and bringing the game into disrepute.
Carneiro has quit the club following his row with Mourinho and is now set to take Chelsea to court.
Daily Mail reports that Carneiro was supposed to resume at Chelsea's training ground Cobham for the first time since the August 8 incident but did not show up.
The doctor the reports say is now consulting top lawyers with her case.
