EDUCATION: ASUU Strike: FUTO Sacks All Lecturers

The Senate of the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) has sacked all lecturers and academic staff of the institution, stating that vacancies for those positions will be published anytime soon.

This is as a result of the ongoing ASUU strike where members flouted the governing council's back to class order. The institution's P.R.O however reveled that those lecturers who intend to resume will have their jobs protected.

Meanwhile, the FUTO branch of ASUU has said any attempt to sack them by the school's management will be highly resisted.
